Welcome to great badminton, great people and great fun........
East Leake Badminton Club has something to offer everyone, whether you're looking for a good standard of competitive league badminton or just a friendly game on a club night. We have a very strong and active membership with several Ladies, Mens and Mixed teams playing in the Nottinghamshire league. There is an excellent mix of people spanning all ages with standards ranging from very good club level (we currently have a number of county standard players) to more 'recreational' players. We are also totally committed to the development of junior players and have a thriving and very enthusiastic Junior Club which includes players from 8 to 16 years old.
Club nights are held every Thursday during the season from September to April (19.30 - 22.00) at our superb club facilities at East Leake Leisure Centre where we have access to 3 courts and play with feather shuttlecocks. Home matches are also held at the Leisure Centre, usually on Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoons. A separate summer club continues after the season has finished so members can continue to play all year round if they wish.
East Leake is a very friendly Club thanks
to our broad range of very enthusiastic members so when we're not
playing badminton we can be found having a great time at one of the
many social events that take place throughout the year. Call in to
The Nags Head in East Leake after any club night or home match and 
you're
sure to find a crowd excitedly discussing that 'amazing backhand smash'
or asking whose round it is!
