A tight and hard fought victory against close rivals Byron on 4th February secured the Division 3A title and automatic promotion for the Mixed 1st Team. The victory came despite the absence of star player Martin Edwards who was playing in the Premier league on the same evening with England Number 1 ranked Junior Chris Adcock, ironically for Byron!!With 2 months still left before the end of the season this is a great result for the team and a tremendous boost for the club.
