Club
enjoys one of its best ever seasons
The
2009 - 2010 season has been one of the most successful ever for East
Leake Badminton Club. Four of the Clubs eight teams were
promoted,
with three of the remaining four teams narrowly missing out, including
the Mens first team who failed to make it by just one single
game!
This disappointment was however more than compensated for by
the
terrific overall achievement of the Club. Congratulations go to the
four teams that were promoted:
Ladies 2nd team to Division 1 (runners-up of
Division 2)
Mixed 2nd team to Division 3
(runners-up of Division 4b)
Mens 2nd team to Division 4 (winners of
Division 5b)
Mens 3rd team to
Division 4 (runners-up of Division 5a)
